St. Simons Island, GA – June 2, 2025 — The Southeastern Junior Golf Tour (SJGT) made a memorable stop this past weekend at the picturesque Sea Palms Resort in St. Simons Island, where top junior golfers from around the region competed in a two-day event filled with intensity, talent, and emerging technology. The winners in each division showcased not only their golf skills but also embraced modern tools like GolfKast Solo and FlightScope to enhance their performance and visibility in the college recruiting pipeline.

Tournament Highlights

In the Boys 16–19 Division, Dane Chadwell, II of Savannah, GA, posted rounds of 68-72 (-4 total) to edge out the competition. His second-round finish included four birdies on the back nine, powered by precise iron play and consistent tee shots.

FlightScope data revealed Chadwell 172 mph ball speed with his driver and maintained a fairways hit percentage of 71%, critical on Sea Palms’ tight, tree-lined layout. Using GolfKast Solo, Dane was able to capture full swings and short game work, giving coaches a complete view of his game.

In the Girls 15–19 Division, Sadaly Campbell from Fernandina Beach, FL, secured the SJGT title with rounds of 70-76 (+2 total). Campbell’s wedge control and poise on the greens stood out. According to FlightScope, her spin control on approach shots was consistent within a ±150 RPM margin, and she hit 83% of greens in regulation during Tuesday’s round.

Younger Division Standouts

In the Boys 14–15 Division, Rhys Cochran from Tallahassee, FL, took home top honors with a solid performance (68-71, -5 total). His consistency and short game were the keys to success, as shown by his FlightScope short game dispersion averaging under 8 feet from 50 yards and in.

In the Girls 12–14 Division, Sophia Moody from Tallahassee, FL, took home top honors with a solid performance (73-73, +2 total). Her consistency and putting were the keys to success, as shown by her FlightScope total carry of 228 yards, kept her in the game.

In the Boys 12-13 Division, Ace Harris from Douglas, GA, took home top honors with a solid performance (69-70, -5 total). His consistency and fairway shots were the keys to success, as shown by his FlightScope short game average ball speed of 132.

GolfKast & FlightScope: Shaping the Future of Junior Golf

The partnership between GolfKast and FlightScope continues to bridge the gap between junior golf and college recruiting by delivering verified performance data and high-quality video from events like SJGT. These tools allow junior golfers to showcase not just their scores, but the how and why behind their results.

“Having both GolfKast and FlightScope technology at SJGT events has created a new standard for junior tournaments,” said James Brady, a representative from GolfKast. “Coaches want objective data, quality video, and consistent performance tracking. That’s exactly what we’re delivering.”

Looking Ahead

With more SJGT stops on the horizon and increasing integration of GolfKast and FlightScope tools, the future looks bright for junior golfers aiming for the next level. Events like the Sea Palms Classic highlight the rising standard of play—and the tech supporting it.

The next event for the GolfKast Team will be at Saugahatchee Country Club CC in Opelika, AL July 8th and 9th.
