PALM HARBOR, FL – October 13, 2025 — GolfKast, a leader in digital golf coverage and player video production, announced today that it has signed an exclusive agreement to broadcast The International Amateur, formerly known as the South Beach International Amateur, one of the world’s most prestigious amateur golf tournaments. The event will be held December 19–22, 2025, at the legendary Innisbrook Resort in Palm Harbor, Florida.
For over a decade, the South Beach International Amateur has been a proving ground for many of the game’s rising stars — players who have gone on to win on the PGA TOUR and major championships. Now, under its new name, The International Amateur, the event looks ahead to a broader, more global stage — and GolfKast will play a central role in bringing that story to life.
“This event has always been one of the elite stops on the amateur circuit,” said James Brady, Managing Partner of GolfKast. “Our partnership with The International Amateur represents an opportunity to not only showcase incredible golf talent but also to elevate how the world experiences amateur competition. Using the GK-OD platform, we’re delivering a cinematic, data-rich look at the players, their performance, and the journey that defines this event.”
GolfKast’s GK-OD (GolfKast On-Demand) platform blends tour-grade video production with data overlays and storytelling to create an immersive viewer experience. Each round will feature highlight reels, player profiles, swing analysis, and key-moment recaps, all available on-demand through GKLive.TV. The platform also enables players and coaches to access individualized performance footage — a valuable tool for recruiting, training, and fan engagement.
“Our goal is to make every swing, every shot, and every moment accessible,” added James. “We’re not just filming golf — we’re telling the stories of the next generation of champions.”
The move to Innisbrook Resort, home of the PGA TOUR’s Valspar Championship, adds a world-class setting to match the event’s stature. With its challenging Copperhead Course and Island Course in iconic Florida setting, Innisbrook provides the perfect championship backdrop for GolfKast’s production teams to capture the essence of high-level amateur golf.
Jeff Hunt - Founder of the Tournament of The International Amateur, praised the partnership:
“We’ve seen GolfKast’s work at other national events and were impressed by their attention to detail and ability to tell the story behind the score. Their On-Demand model means our players, families, and fans can relive the event anytime, anywhere. It’s a win for the tournament and for the sport.”
GolfKast has steadily expanded its footprint across the amateur and collegiate golf landscape, partnering with major junior tours and elite tournaments throughout the country. The company’s innovative approach — combining technology, storytelling, and accessibility — has positioned it as one of the most forward-thinking media platforms in golf today.
“We believe that the future of golf coverage is player-centric,” James continued. “Whether it’s a junior, collegiate, or amateur event, these athletes deserve professional-level exposure. The International Amateur is a perfect showcase for what GolfKast does best — connecting talent, technology, and storytelling.”
