In 2018, GameKast was born from a simple idea.
Help athletes, families, coaches, and fans stay connected through live sports coverage.
At the time, the streaming landscape looked very different than it does today. Many amateur sporting events had little or no media coverage. If a parent, grandparent, or recruiter couldn't attend in person, they often missed the opportunity to watch altogether.
We believed there had to be a better way.
What started with a single camera and a vision quickly evolved into a mission that would take us across the country, covering athletes at every level of competition.
Like most startups, the early years were filled with long days, long drives, and plenty of challenges.
We loaded equipment into vehicles, traveled thousands of miles, learned through trial and error, and worked tirelessly to improve the experience for athletes and fans. Every event taught us something new. Every stream made us better.
As technology improved and demand increased, GameKast expanded into multiple sports and larger events.
Over time, we built relationships with tournament directors, coaches, athletic organizations, and governing bodies who shared our belief that amateur athletes deserved better media coverage.
That growth eventually led to a milestone few could have imagined in the early days.
At our peak, GameKast was producing 142 live streams simultaneously, covering events across multiple sports and locations.
What began with one camera had become a national media operation.
As our audience grew, we realized we needed more than a streaming service.
We needed a network.
That vision led to the creation of GKLive.TV, our dedicated streaming and media platform designed to bring together live broadcasts, event coverage, highlights, storytelling, and original content.
The response exceeded our expectations.
By late 2025, GKLive.TV surpassed 2 million total viewers, establishing itself as one of the largest amateur sports streaming platforms in the world.
For our team, that number represented much more than views.
It represented trust.
Trust from athletes, parents, coaches, event organizers, and fans who chose our platform to experience some of the most important moments in amateur sports.
As we expanded, we began identifying sports that were underserved by traditional media.
Golf stood out immediately.
While professional golf received significant coverage, junior, collegiate, and developmental professional golf often struggled for visibility despite incredible talent and compelling stories.
That realization led to the launch of GolfKast.
Today, GolfKast has covered NCAA Championships, the Epson Tour, elite amateur events, collegiate championships, and some of the most respected junior golf tours in the country.
GolfKast was built with a simple goal:
Give golfers and their families the same level of media coverage enjoyed by athletes in larger sports.
Over the years, we've covered thousands of athletes.
We've watched dreams become reality.
We've seen championships won.
We've watched athletes sign college scholarships and pursue professional careers.
But we also learned something important.
For most athletes, their competitive career ends at the high school level.
Not because they weren't talented.
Not because they didn't work hard.
Simply because that's the reality of sports.
Yet every athlete has a story worth preserving.
Every athlete deserves a place where their accomplishments, media, highlights, and journey can live on.
That realization changed how we thought about the future.
GKZiD was created to put the athlete at the center of the experience.
Rather than focusing solely on events, we wanted to build a platform focused on identity.
A place where athletes can organize their media, showcase accomplishments, connect with opportunities, and maintain a verified athletic profile throughout their journey.
GKZiD represents the next evolution of what we learned through years of broadcasting sports.
It's not just about the game.
It's about the athlete.

In 2026, GKLive.TV committed to expanding coverage across all sports while integrating the power of the GKZiD athlete identity platform.
Together, GameKast, GKLive.TV, GolfKast, and GKZiD form an ecosystem built around a single mission:
To help athletes be seen, remembered, and connected.
The journey from one camera to more than 2 million viewers has been incredible.
But the number itself isn't what matters most.
What matters are the athletes whose stories we've been privileged to tell.
The families we've connected.
The moments we've preserved.
And the opportunities still ahead.
Because after all these years, we're still driven by the same belief that started it all:
Every athlete has a story worth telling.
And we're just getting started.
