GKLive.TV is excited to announce that the live broadcast streaming of the First Tee National Championship, is taking place from June June 25-27th, at The Walker Course at Clemson University. This prestigious event, hosted by First Tee Headquarters, showcases top players from the First Tee program, highlighting their development and character strength needed to excel under pressure.

Event Highlights:

- Date: June 25-27, 2024

- Location: The Walker Course at Clemson University

- Format: 54-hole stroke play, no cut

- Participants: Up to 24 boys and 24 girls, ages 14-18

Opportunities at Stake

Two participants at the First Tee National Championship will earn exemptions into the PURE Insurance Championship, a PGA TOUR Champions event. The exemptions will go to the lowest scoring male and female players who haven’t previously played the tournament, which will take place in September at Pebble Beach.

2023 Girls Winner

Based on their play at National Championship, two players will also be awarded spots in the PGA TOUR’s Pathways to Progression program, which was created to help increase diversity at golf’s highest levels. The program helps golfers from traditionally underserved or underrepresented backgrounds prepare to play at the collegiate level.

This is the fourth annual First Tee National Championship. All six past winners are playing collegiate golf:

2021 (Clemson University)

  • Ashton Harper, First Tee – Roanoke Valley, Virginia Tech University
  • Symran Shah, First Tee – Greater Dallas, Virginia Tech University

2022 (University of Notre Dame)

  • Hunter Swanson, First Tee – Green Valley Ranch, University of Colorado
  • Hannah Lydic, First Tee – Delaware, University of Richmond

2023 (Stanford University)

  • Cooper Groshart, First Tee – Central Coast, Cal State East Bay
  • Megan Meng, First Tee – Greater Trenton, Northwestern University
